GQ, you were a perfect host.............except for not letting me catch the biggest fish!
I had a terrific time! See you next year.
Love ya,
GLB
GQ, the photo's say it all - and what wonderful shots you captured - looks like a perfectly idyllic time was had by all (I say with a tinge of envy in my voice)!
What a nice Easter surprise to turn on the computer this morning and find that you're back! You've been missed. These fishing trip photos tell the story of some relaxing outdoor time with your brother and son. Looking forward to hearing more of what's been happening in your life during the last couple of months. :)
Hi, I have missed your postings too. Gosh I love those pictures...especially the snow. I have two snow scenes in my living room...sigh. That's the way we get our snow in Mississippi, through pictures and vicariously through our friends...here it is April and we are headed into summer and I'm dreaming of snow.
Hey, it is good to see you back! Terrific captures and it does look like a fun trip! Love the last shot with the light on the water -- beautiful! Hope all is going well! Have a great week!
Sylvia
So glad you are back. I've missed you but from the looks of things, you were having a grand time without us.
Those pictures make me feel refreshed and I didn't even get to go.
Beautiful holiday pictures- that fish looks great
Looks like you had a great time. I can hardly wait until I can get on the water.
Great pictures and looks like you guys had a great time!
GLB: Thank you for making the effort. Having you there was even better than the fish. Oh, yeah…that might not be a compliment. You are the best! Thanks!
Shrinky: It was for sure a wonderful time to reacquaint with family and some friends. Thanks for stopping by!
Linda: I have been missed? Aren’t you nicer than your suppose to be…Thank you!
AngelMc: One morning we awoke to 23 degrees and the previous nights rain had encased everything in ice but the coffee and sun warmed things up quick. Dreaming of snow? I have to admit – I am not sure I could handle a Mississippi summer. Hang in there.
Sylvia K: Thank you! Nice compliment coming from you! Thanks.
Arkansas Patti: Thank you for the kind words. The guilt is subsiding by the forgiveness you offer. It is always fun to see your smiling face in my comments! You’re the best!
Amrita: Thanks for stopping by – I hope all is well with you and yours. We did have a great time – at least I did :-)
Bill: I have no doubt that will be very soon - Barbless of course.
Debra: Look who stopped by? Thanks! Guy time is always great but it was also great to come home to one of the female persuasion.
Lovely pics, GQ ! Looks like u enjoyed every little bit of it !!
What beautiful shots! I love those white pelicans. I don't think I've ever seen white ones. Looks like you guys had a great time!
Now that's one nice rainbow. I've never had the opportunity or circumstance to try this method of fishing but it does look like fun. My gear is out and ready and I'll be wading a local spring creek next week flyrod in hand. :)
Anita: It was an awesome trip - thanks for stopping by.
Wendy: Thank you. I hope all is well.
Welcome home! Great photos! Thank you for sharing! :D
So glad you are back, but at least your absence was for a very good reason. Nothing like a bit of time to feed the inner man.
Your pictures are wonderful, creating memories to be kept in the heart beat writing a blog every time.
Now enough with the memory making, time to get back to reality like the rest of us!
Welcome back.
Looks like you had a fine time. Frank and I spent a couple of enjoyable hours fishing last week. It's good to see you back to blogging.
Great pics, seems like you had a very good time.
Am now reading the posts I've missed and this is truly a spectacular one. Blending nature and family for nine days seems like an ideal thing to do.
